How to get newspaper layout in microsoft word

The setup of traditional columns is simpler, but it can be challenging, since you must fill the first column before you can proceed to the next one. The page layout in Word can be changed from portrait to landscape and vice versa. A dialog box for setting up the Page Setup is displayed. You can choose either portrait or landscape orientation for Word. Columns in the newspaper style, which are also known as newsletter columns, allow text and images to flow from one column to another.

The File tab is accessed by clicking New. Choose New from existing templates from the Available templates section. Then click the Create New button next to a template or document that is similar to the one you want to create. You can change the margin settings, page size, orientation, styles, and other formats by clicking on the settings button.

There is a Page Layout Tab that provides all the options you need to arrange your document pages according to your preferences. In US paper sizes, Tabloid is 11 inches tall and 17 inches wide, and can be folded to make Letter 8. Although this is well within Word's capability, it's larger than most laser or inkjet physical printers can handle, so their drivers don't allow the selection of Tabloid in Word's paper size dialog.

If you don't have a large physical printer, you must first open the Print page and select a software printer for example, one of the PDF programs such as Nitro Reader that doesn't limit the page size. Next, click the launcher button in the bottom right corner of the Page Setup group on the Page Layout tab. Save the resulting document as a template. When you base a new document on that template, the pages will appear in sequential order inside Word, but will appear in the correct order for the folded "booklet" in the PDF.
